Your data in ArriveWork
Your employer uses ArriveWork to record your working hours and work out your pay. This page says what is recorded, who can see it, and what you can do about it.
What is recorded
- Your Telegram account: its number, the name you were enrolled under, and the language your phone uses.
- The time you check in and check out, and which shop you did it at.
- Your location at the moment you check in or out, if your shop uses location check-in, and how far from the shop you were. Not at any other time.
- A photo of you at check-in or check-out, if your shop asks for one. It is kept with that shift as a record that it was you. It is not used to recognise your face anywhere else.
- Tasks you log, extra hours you claim, and time off you ask for.
- Your hourly rate, the hours you worked, what you were paid, and any advance or deduction, with the reason given.
- Your payout QR (KHQR), if you gave one, so you can be paid to it.
What is not recorded
- Where you are at any time other than the moment you check in or out. The bot cannot see your location unless you send it.
- Your contacts, your photos, or any other chat in your Telegram.
- Your fingerprint or a face scan. There is no biometric system.
Who can see it
- Your manager and the owner of the business, for the shop you work at.
- The people who run ArriveWork, when needed to keep the system working or to help your employer with a problem.
- Nobody else. It is not sold, and one business cannot see another's staff.
Where it is kept and for how long
- On a server run by ArriveWork, and (for the messages you exchange with the bot) in Telegram.
- While you work there, and afterwards for as long as your employer must keep pay records by law. If you leave, your account is closed and you no longer see your record, but the pay records stay.
What you can do
- See your own hours and pay any time: tap My Days in the bot, or open your page with /mypage.
- Ask your manager to correct a check-in or check-out that is wrong. Every correction is written down with who made it and why.
- Ask your manager or the owner what is held about you.
Questions
Ask your manager first. They can see your record and fix most things on the spot.
